How We Work
Fredrick Reeder
Rick started designStream as a moonlighting interest that eventually became a
full-time practice.  He has been building things since he was a little boy, and is now
well-respected among clients, peers and contractors for his technical skills,
construction knowledge, experience with a broad range of materials, superb
understanding of three dimensional space and light, and ability to think creatively and
unconventionally.  All of which brings a direct, distinctive and beautiful essence to all
levels of his work, which has been exhibited in the Museum of Modern Art and has
appeared in
The Wall Street Journal, books and several periodicals.

Rick is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Boston Society of
Architects and he is accredited by the U.S. Green Building Council.  With undergraduate
and graduate  degrees in architecture and planning from Oklahoma, RPI and Harvard,
Rick spent much of his professional career with a large Boston firm and his broad
experience encompasses high profile commercial, residential, cultural and civic
projects in this country and abroad.  He is licensed to practice architecture in
Massachusetts and holds NCARB certification which enables him to obtain other state
licensure and to practice abroad, when required.         Resume available upon request.
